Welcome, Guest.

Sifu Lee Paul Heron, developer of the Federation Wing Tsun System.

Me, Lee Paul Heron in July 2011 with my daughter, Kizi-May. I began this resource the day after this picture was taken.

This is the official resource for the Federation Wing Tsun System.

I have been building this website since mid-2011, the intention being to provide full documentation and completely free training support for anyone studying my unique, strategy-based approach to this deceptively simple, yet endlessly complex and beautiful martial art.

Day-by-day you’ll see this resource grow as I write & upload more content gained from my 22 years of martial arts training (I began in 1989 aged 15), and refined via my ongoing career as a full-time professional in the field of martial arts education (I began teaching in 2000, and turned pro at the start of 2002). I hope what you find here will be useful to you, and long may you train.

Currently, my construction plan is going like this:

  1. Purchase hosting & URL – Complete.
  2. Install & set-up CMS – Complete.
  3. Create site infrastructure – Complete.
  4. Create & add text content – Currently ongoing.
  5. Create & add static image content – In creation phase, offline.
  6. Create & add video content – In creation phase, offline.

Keep checking back to discover more about the system, and my ongoing fascination with the study of martial arts.

Site Update 6

The first videos have now been uploaded, hooray! Some short clips demonstrating some of the Shifting, Turning & Pivoting techniques which exist within Mobility Tools, for example the Heel-Centre Turns. The video is small, and works on the iPhone, the iPad, and on the Mac using both Safari & Firefox. I couldn’t care less about IE.

The idea is that each technique will have text explanations, images showing key positions, and a short video clip showing movement. Longer videos showing the actual training drills, combat applications and exercises which feature the technique will follow later.

It’s a long job, but like Kung-Fu, i’m concentrating on the little things each day, and gradually the site is taking shape. Enjoy.
