The official Training Programme makes up one part of the complete Federation Wing Tsun System. It is the way in which the Martial Art System is taught to our students.
The training programme has been developed and revised continuously since 1999, using experience & expertise gained during many thousands of hours of instruction in many different environments. It is THE step-by-step way to learn this unique way of Wing Chun Kung-Fu, with progressive, structured lessons available for each & every grade.
For ease of learning, the entire training programme is divided into three Levels. Each level contains a number of Stages, and each stage contains a number of Grades. This structure provides long-term, mid-term, and short-term goals for students to aim for.
Further, each of the Grades contains three components: (1) A self-contained Syllabus which clearly shows the skills & knowledge to be mastered. (2) A structured Lesson Plan which shows the order in which said knowledge is best delivered, and: (3) A standard Assessment which tests how well the syllabus material has been absorbed.
Finally, each Grade also ‘works’ effectively in isolation, and builds upon all of the ones beneath it. (So, if all you ever complete is the 1st Student Grade, you’ll still have gained effective, practical martial art skills, just ones that are limited to the statistically most common attacks.)
In this logical way the entire martial art system is delivered, piece by interlocking-piece, to each & every student who makes it their own.
